I saw some documentary the other day. A researcher in a remote jungle was wondering why a local tribe was so healthy, without any obvious cases of illness. No doctors, no hospitals, no medicine. Yet all tribe members, young and old, where jumping around like spring chickens. The scientific explanation was that these tribes have a perfect mix of genes, some of homo sapiens, some of some neanderthaler type of background.
My first thought was it might be none of this, it might be much simpler. Maybe they are so healthy just because there are no hospitals. I live in a town where the hospital seems to span half of the whole urban surface area. We do have a lot of visitors from out of town in this good old hospital of ours, and yes, off course, if I break a leg, I am going to visit them, but ... Isn't it crazy? Put all sick people together and make them better with some sort of synthetic drug?
I reckon it's no wonder we have so many diseased. It's all part of the system. The pharmaceutical machine has to keep on running, it makes many rich and makes sure our medicine mens can have a nice holidays in remote, pristine, and far away exotic places.
